Objective 9

Critically evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of evidence-based interventions with individuals, families, small groups, organizations, and communities, using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods. In Applied Research, I created a research proposal on meeting the mental health needs of vulnerable youth in custody. This proposal allowed me the opportunity to evaluate and analyze the evidence based interventions utilized in assisting such a vulnerable population.

Function professionally within an organizational system and when appropriate, effect positive change. I have tried to utilize my time at UTC and DCS in a productive and effective manner. Both organizations have taught me valuable interpersonal skills, and self awareness.During these past two years,I have had the opportunity to collaberate with some of the best upcoming social workers in this town. I have gained valuable experience as a leader and as a follower. I have tried to implement positive change wherever I saw the opportunity and have built some long lasting relationships within both organizations .
